An Engaging Writing & Fine Art Homeschool Enrichment Program for Grades 4th-6th | Chico
InkWright Studio is a unique program designed for students grades 4th-6th, blending the art of writing with creative visual expression. Utilizing the Fables, Myths, and Fairy Tales curriculum from the Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW), students will engage with classic stories to develop their writing skills. The IEW approach guides students through various units, teaching them to take notes, retell narrative stories, summarize references, write from pictures, and compose their own fables, myths, and fairy tales. Complementing the writing component, InkWright Studio incorporates fine art projects, including drawing and painting, allowing students to bring their written narratives to life visually.

Ms. Meg and local artist, Ms. Kimmie, came together to create the most fantastical writing & art combo class in Chico!
Program runs August 21st - May 14th
Thursdays 9:30 - 1:30 in Chico

"As a parent, the big draw for me was the writing component, as I feel strongly that writing is more meaningful with an audience of peers. The writing has been challenging for her, but I've seen wonderful growth and a developed understanding of the structure of a 5 paragraph essay. This class has been a wonderful way to make new friends, try out new hobbies and develop skills in a supportive, homelike environment. Meg Arnold is a creative, and fun teacher for the kids to have.
